To get the chord markers into FL use the BBPlugin Standalone, open your SGU, right click on the C7 and set it to chord label, uncheck Count-In drag the C7 to export.
i dont bother with the bb count off cos i roll my own 4 bar count off at the start of a song. (x = song key.useing a rd style.)
ie x.d x.d x.d x.d << means only rd plays.
this also helps transferring bb traks to other music software to line up traks with the count off visually if needed.
you can even get fancy also. using bb song markers (M = Marker).
ie lets say you want a nice drum solo before the other instrumentation comes in..
SO…eg 4 bar count off followed by 8 bar drum solo…
1.. x.d x.d x.d x.d THEN.. 2.. x.d M x.d x.d M x.d x.d M x.d x.d x.d M
just experiment with market placement viz bars.
in summary one can get interesting song intro drum solos by clever usage of markers and real drum styles. you can also build drum solos for later in song. by similar tricks.
hope you find this of interest.
best/just an idea.

If you don't want the count-in to play just double click on bar 1 in Biab and it will play from there, but the count-in is hard wired in for count-ins or pickup notes as you can see in the audio edit or piano roll. There is also an option to turn it off in Prefs> Count-In/Metro. See in the pic FL starts on bar 1 when Biab gets to bar 1. If you set FL to 0 then FL bar 1 will = Biab bar -1, FL bar 2 will = Biab bar 0, FL bar 3 will = Biab bar 1. In most DAWs there is a bar offset adjustment but I can't see in FL but the send beat offset works.
When I set FL to 0 it will start on bar 3. If you set it to 8 beats offset it will start on 1 but if you render Biab files you need to render without the count-in bars. or just highlight the chords from bar 1 to the end then drag render so it will line up in FL without the 2 empty bars at the start.
I don't quite understand what you were talking about. What do you mean by x, d, M?
Could you elaborate what you did in BiaB? Maybe attach a screenshot?
I think that the letter x is referring to the desired chord, e.g. Eb, F or Am, followed by a single period and then the letter 'd' i.e. Eb.d
The single period and letter d means that the bar is played as a rest, except for the drums. (Eb.bd would play only bass and drums)
M is referring to where to add a Part Marker.
BIAB & RB2026 Win.(Audiophile), Windows 10 Pro & Windows 11, Cakewalk Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Session Keys Grand S & Electric R, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M, Pioneer Active Monitors.
(ps all this is in the various manuals.otherwise lots for me to type. eg in bb WINDOW>>HELP>>FEATURE BROWSER search .. rests/shots/holds/pushes etc.)
ALT + F5 brings up chord options for a chord etc etc.
you can do lots of nifty stuff with this dialog.
just a rough example…at the end of song you wanna go wild with just a rock drum solo on the fade (assume song is in C) starting at bar 90 for 8 bars…THUS
enter 8 bars of C.d in the chord sheet for bars 90 thru 97…this tells bb to play only drums. THEN experiment with the Markers at different bars to create the illusion of a drum solo. for example bar 91 has a marker as do bar 94 and 95. or bar 89 thru 97 if you want a crazy bonkers drum solo imitating a wild drummer.
lotsa fun. note useing pg products you could create the illusion of even 2 drummers or more playing like bands used to do live. or do stuff like some perc and regular drums and even loops also.
the KEY is to experiment with both the dot(s) after the chord AND where you turn on the bar markers ie which bars have markers. in realband you can go even more bonkers cos of 48 traks. also lets say you have a fancy schmancy drum sample lib vi also. nothing to stop you useing this plus pg real drums to create a fancy wild drum arrangement. and throw in some loops also. the sky's the limit !!
let there be drums…lol.
hth.

I can see you are a drum solo fanatic, just like me.
I see what you mean. You are talking about Chord Options and Part Marks.
I used to make some crazy drum solos too. With Part Marker, you can choose a style with multiple substyles. So, instead of only blue (a) and green (b), you can have blue, green, pink (c), and yellow (d), make drum solo more sophisticated.
And I also tried to play with breaks in Chord Options.
One dot, is rests, means mute.
Two dots, is shots, means play one beat, then cut to mute.
Three dots, is holds, means play one beat, and sustain.
So, with a simple C chord, I have a bunch of stuff to mix and match.
C.d C.bd C..d C..bd C...d C...bd
With a little bass line mixed with a drum solo, the possibilites are endless.
This is a very exciting technique you brought up. I should definitely apply more of this in my future productions.

1..in realband (rb) you could create a slew of drum traks and combine really fancy stuff like a live drummer with pg genned rd's and midi drums//vi's..plus loops plus plus etc etc
2..of course the old midi trick. in rb genn a MIDI trak for any instrument other than midi drums then insert a drum VI to get very interesting drum sound pictures. for example the piano might be playing a triplet which in turn creates triplets of drums…lol. lots of fx possibilities.
3..you can go hog wild in rb. eg 2 traks of genned real traks plus a regular genned midi drum trak with a vi...couple of loops. seperate couple of traks for drum solos // fills edited. now add a live drummer n' edit whole shebang together // comp to a final drum trak...crazy drum city mate..lol.
finally let me say doing these techniques is sorta like prospecting for gold in aussie land…you prospect n' dig deep and a freaking big smile comes on your face as you discover a wonderful nugget of sound. thus i recommend lots of deep digging and experimentation.
ps MCity..great idea.
happiness//keep digging for the gold.
