This has always worked for me in the past (2022 version and prior), BUT since new 2023 version, (currently on Ver 1006) I am having a very severe issue.
"Allow Multiple Instances" is checked in preferences (as it has been for years past).
But if I have one song already loaded, then click on a different song in the File Manager... BOTH SONGS become the new one that I just loaded from the File Manager. No prompts or warnings, and the original previously loaded song is GONE! POOF!
This has been occurring with 2023 version EVERY TIME. Always worked properly in 2022 version and previous versions before that.
Is it just me???

Maybe it's something to do with the AutoSave they added this year ?

Just a thought. Have you tried going into the File Menu, File Utilities, and running the Associate File Types again? I've found that on occasion a Windows update (or perhaps sunspots) will cause that to be lost, and I need to re-run it.

It is definitely already associated and brings up BIAB when an appropriate file is clicked on. Thanks, but not the problem. BTW... Did you try duplicating this yourself?

BTW... Did you try duplicating this yourself? Ha, no, it doesn't work on a phone. Sometimes I offer ideas while reading posts on the iPhone but cannot test them until later. Glad this is fixed by a patch.
