Great point by Mario. I recall reading somewhere you should not make it more than 10% faster than the recommended tempo, or 5% slower, if the song has RealTracks. I could be wrong on the numbers but that's the general idea.

Also, the possible effects (artifacts) seem to be magnified at slower tempos, so you have even less leeway.

And Eddie is right, that different algorithms exist for speeding or slowing audio. I have Studio One Pro but I never saw anything about this.

ps 2 beats per minute is a really slow song ... I'm sure you meant 2 per second. 120 bpm is the perfect tempo for dancing; probably more hits have been written at that tempo than any other.
