I have a Chorus that repeats. (32 x 3) I have entered bar-based lyrics for the Chorus. I want to repeat that Chorus through the rest of the song, as there's a midi melody for the duration of the song. I know I can unfold the song and paste it in again, but there's an option under Edit -> Lyrics -> Copy Bar-Based Lyrics in 1st Chorus to Whole Song which should seemingly do just that. But when I choose that option, I get a pop-up saying "No note-based Lyrics available - can't Copy First Chorus to Whole Song."
Thanks for the reply. I have played around with note-based lyrics. I tried it on a couple of songs. But for me, the bar-based lyrics has been great, very easy to enter, adjust, see on the main chord chart as I practicing singing and playing (by the chords). And printing the chord chart to pdf.
The question is, why is the option given for "Copy Bar-Based Lyrics" to whole song, when it turns out the program expecting note-based lyrics?
I use the lyrics/copy to clipboard, paste them into notepad to edit out the header, etc... Then copy and paste it into the remaining bars as bar lyrics.
Hope they fix this too, but this works for me in the meantime.
I also discovered that in that option box if I turn off chords, double space, and set word wrapping to about 25 and 0 for the left margin, the text can pretty much be pasted in again without reformatting everything.
