Beautiful images on your video. Uplifting lyrics, soothing folk vibe and very well sung. Enjoyed it.

Thanks, everyone, for your generous comments! I do kind of like this one, if I do say so myself. And I do. I did. Thanks.

Flatfoot,
Can I just signal my agreement with your sound self-judgment?

Hi flatfoot,

Josie has a much better way with words than I do. When she said, "Beautiful images on your video. Uplifting lyrics, soothing folk vibe and very well sung. Enjoyed it.", she nailed it

All the best,
Noel

Sounds pretty good and the slide show is mighty nice. The instrumentation is working well here. I think I have mentioned that "midi" sound in some of your past tunes, this one sounds natural and it all fits together. Singing is good, too.

KEMMRICH: Do you have the time and inclination to go back and listen again? If you could point out specifics of what you mean when you say "Midi sound," it would be most helpful.

No, I meant on past songs -- this one sounds just fine. Sorry for the confusion.

Nice job, Flatfoot!
What software did you use to create the video?

?>>>...What software did you use to create the video? ...>>>>

Microsoft Photo Story. Its free and super easy. Also has a fun "Automatic-Composer" function. The pictures are random stuff I found on the Web.

Thanks! I'll check it out.. I like the way you panned the photos to imply movement in a still shot. Cool feature, especially when making a presentation to accompany music.

It’s all been said.

Super song, backing tracks, superior mix and one outstanding vocal.

OK, a random thought;
Why does toilet paper need a commercial? Who's not buying it?

Try downloading the Microsoft Photostory program. The panning and other effects are stupid easy.

This sounds very good Flatfoot. I like the 2 beat feel to this one and the nice guitar riffs really add that extra spice to it. Keep em coming !!

Whoops!

The URLs for my YouTube songs are a bit mixed up. There are now two songs here. One is "The Valley of Love and Delight:"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqN0qVKQaHA

...and the other is "The Love Song," which I just put up yesterday:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1qhK4Kz5uM

...thanks for listening!
