Uh, Uh, Uuhhh Nooo You want to feel me scream Like something out of your wicked dreams I felt what you can do And I tremble at the sight of you You became my twisted nightmare come true
CH
So go ahead Take a long hard look at me Oh yeah This is the last glimpse Of my beautiful shape That you will ever see You tried to tie me up Tie me down Hold me to the ground And go ahead Take a long hard look A long hard look at me
V2
You pushed me to extremes Forced me to live in your daydreams I will be free of you No more hurting with what you do From all the hungry things that live and crawl inside of you
CH
So go ahead And take a hard look at me This is the last glimpse Of my beautiful shape That you will ever see You wanted to tie me up Tie me down Hold me to the ground Go ahead And take a long hard look A hard look at me
BR
Real men don't act like little boys Play with women like their toys
CH
So go ahead And take a hard look at me This is the last glimpse Of my beautiful shape That you will ever see You wanted to tie me up Tie me down Pull me through the ground So go ahead And take a long hard look A hard look at me

An interesting but good song for someone so far out of their comfort zone. It sounded like Rachel fulfilled her fantasy!
I am no expert on heavy metal punk rock thrash songs but to nitpick I thought that Rachel's vocal was to pure for this genre. The vocals on songs that I have heard in this genre were a lot rougher. Some of those songs had no singing, just yelling! Maybe adding little distortion to her vocal might help, don't know for sure.
Regardless she did have fun doing this and my nitpicking didn't take anything away from what you have accomplished.
Both of you did a good job on this one, as usual.

I absolutely do not have a metal voice, but I had a lot of fun! I really appreciate David letting me explore musically since I am so new to the industry.
I'm not really qualified to comment on this genre but it does sound like punk to me from what I remember. Who knows where this'll lead? What matters most is that you enjoyed doing it.
HA! I read all the comments before listening, and I was a little scared to push Play. Love it actually. You know, just for the reasons you mention. SO much fun for you two. I love what you say, David: "Who do you think you're talking to? I have BiaB 2023." Keep those fantasies coming, Rachel. Hope you don't have a Polka fantasy.
Enjoy whatever happens! marty

David and Rachel, definitely not my genre. However I did like the effort and the lyrics do work well for the dark side. Good experiment. There is no wrong way , just different. Keep em coming, Tom
Melody, narrative and arrangements sound good. Verse one sounds like it has a lot of a small room in it. I reckon David should strap on a guitar and replace those "thrash" with some of his hard rock shock tactics.

I think we (or at least I) focus so much on making a tune as perfect as we can, we sometimes forget that sometimes we need to cut loose and just have some fun . . . You’ve done that here in spades . . . must have been a blast to work on. As for the song, yeah, the genre is not quite a match with Rachel’s vocal . . . but it has all the bones of a good metal song. Good lyrics and the sound is pretty solid. Might be worth exploring doing this with more of a true metal singer—a gravelly, grunge type vocalist. Fun stuff!
Tommy, in the free for all drunken rampage Florida prison break bar you speak of in your recent epic song, did anyone ever get up there drunk out of their mind and sing a song like this in a Sunday afternoon?
Or would that have been considered a faux pas and display of bad manners?
