My wishlist request is a for a utility program or wizard that guides a user through the process of moving the Band-in-a-Box program, RealBand program and associated content from one storage drive to another storage drive.. The utility program or wizard should have the following features: - User selects source drive letter. Source drive letter selection should default to primary or "C" drive letter with the capability to navigate to an alternate drive letter if needed.
- User can select one or more folders on source drive. Both "bb" and "RealBand" folders should be default selections.
- User can select one or more sub folders on source drive.
- User selects target drive letter.
- Optional a user can select a target drive folder.
- The user must confirm all choices. The user can change choices if needed.
- The program automates moving folders and sub folders from source drive to target drive.
- An enabled check box requires user to verify each selected folder and sub folder move.
- Program and Plugin settings are automatically updated with the new folder locations.
- The program generates a log of each final user selection, folder move and sub folder move.
- The program has check boxes that enable display and print log choices.
Background: Forum users constantly ask about moving the Band-in-a-Box and RealBand programs and associated content from their computer's primary storage drive to a secondary storage location.

But I’ve always considered that this is a hazardous area. If someone makes a mistake giving or following directions, it can really mess up an installation, and we would feel responsible.

Such a feature is definitely supported by me. Users can get into a very confusing situation when they try to do this manually. An automated option would be very welcome.

Matt, Thank you for your support for this idea. To answer your concern, if a user messes up an installation while using a utility program that has as many check and balances as what I described it should be fairly easy to determine where the user error occurred and help the user successfully resolve the issue. Dr. Gannon, thank you for considering my idea. I look forward to seeing it in a future release. AudioTrack & MarioD, Thank you for your support of this idea.
