Hans...really nice mix and great band you put together...I like the melody and the solo instruments you put together...very cohesive writing and production...as for the subject, there could not be anything more relevant for writing or discussing...obviously we are all going to spend a lot more time dead than alive and whether we are watching someone we love leave or are contemplating our own demise...we have to ask ourselves "what's next?"...you have commented to me on a few of my songs that you are not a person of faith (I took that to mean you did not believe in God) and if that is true then you have captured perfectly the dilemma of not having faith...that is hopelessness, sadness, despair and that endless question "what's next?"...I have found that faith renders those things null and void for the person that's leaving and the person that is left behind...this is just a thought, not a debate...each person is free to hold or not to hold such a belief…but the ramifications of having faith or not certainly are relevant to all of us and worthy of a song...(it's actually a primary reason I write songs)...nonetheless, this is a very well done composition!
