Hi Matt.
I'm on Windows 11. The Melodist seems to be behaving for me. I'm not getting that second regeneration. I have a different problem.
With it set up as shown in the image below, when I generate the Melody over and existing chord progression (and a Realstyle loaded), the Realstyle is replaced by a MIDI style even though the "Use Realstyles" option is supposed to override the MIDI style. Noel, I didn't catch that the first time but the identical thing is happening here regardless of the style, MIDI or RT. I always get a MIDI melody. I am on Windows 10. Note my settings are exactly like yours.
I think my wife has started to show the first signs of dementia.
