1. Fix so it will load dual FX/I Plugins as FX or Instrument.
If it has Midi & Audio In then you need to be able to load it as a VSTi also.

2. You need to be able to chain VSTi.

Here is an example of more workarounds having to use Element. I have a chord track that sends to the Piano track, there is a ReaJS Plugin to snap any midi on that track during playback to the chord track. I can't load the ReaJS.dll as a VSTi to receive the midi from the chord track as Biab thinks it's only an FX Plugin, I can't chain Sforzando after the ReaJS.dll to receive it's midi output. https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/
If I have EZKeys and I want to send it's Midi Out to a Playable RealTracks sfz I need to be able to chain the 2 VSTi's.

Biab will fight at every turn not to work in a modern way, try and fool it but it's having no part.
I copied the audio plugin
TYPE=VSTi;NAME=Cockos: ReaJS/blah ; makes effect call;ID=rejs.....
from plugin_list_Audio_x64.txt to plugin_list_MIDI_x64.txt
and it then loads fine as a midi plugin

then I did the same with
TYPE=VST;NAME=Plogue Art et Technologie, Inc: sforzando.....
and added it to plugin_list_Audio_x64.txt
to be able to load it after a VSTi in an FX slot,
it loaded ok but no sound.
