David and Rachel Radio 3.8.23: BEER AND A BIBLE Hey Y'all, It’s that time of the month again. Or is it week?? Hmmmmmmm. While Rachel is contemplating her next fantasy, we spun this up. I called her and said: “I have a title. Beer and a Bible.” “How does it go?” “I got a beer and a Bible and it’s just about all I need.” “What else?” “Hmmm. The first one helps me smile and the second one helps me see. That’s it. I was hoping you would finish it.” The following result is based on what she sent back ten minutes later. Love the glimpse on your writing process with Rachel . . . that’s true partnership . . . because you started with just a line and built a wonderful, fully rich lyric. It’s a great hook and you do it justice in all respects. Nice arrangement, solid mix. Not sure why, but this reminds me a bit of the Counting Crows. Good stuff!

On the other hand, Jesus did make wine by the barrel.
