I was surprised that Les Paul could produce such a sound.

Hmmm, like Einstein having a thought-experiment on 2+2, you know your way around the perfect solution. Man, you are quite extraordinary at finding the perfect tone for each piece, and then let it fly with the perfect touch and taste. Thanks Marty. This song came of trying to play a bassline with my little finger on a Am chord. Most of the melody came from playing around that chord. Really glad you liked it. Scott...another great piece of music...your craftmanship is impeccable (as usual)...this would be a super track for the right cinema subject...I agree with everyone else about the tone you decided to "experiment" with...always love your stuff...peaceful and mysterious! Neat opening. Pretty cool tones you got out of your guitar! Nice fusion between electric and acoustic. Gets a bit saturated around 2:10, but resolves well. Thank you for sharing.

Really glad you liked the song. Very cool guitar sound, especially in the intro. Lovely melody, those large pitch bendings are fun. That low melodic line adds nicely to the mood. Mysterious, ehthereal and beautiful. Very successful experiment.

Great tone on that guitar, and sure liked that sound around 1:59, was that a slide and a bend? I thought the entire tune blended together very well. You gotta winner.

This would work well in a movie.
Thanks Mario. I have been having allot of fun playing with this new pedal. placing distortion before the amp, in between the amp and cab. Has build in eq and a LA2A compressor so not to much processing is required during the mixing and mastering. Glad you liked the song..

Yeah, I’m not sure what’s experimental about this . . . but regardless, it’s a wonderful instrumental . . . some really nice touches on that guitar playing (that slide up the neck in particular—great sound you’ve generated with that). That melodic riff you have running through (and which you end on) is very catchy. Cool listen!

I love this melody. And your solos are beautiful. Like those slidings into 'heaven' from your guitar.
I haven't any feelings about a Gibson or a Fender when it comes to this kind of solo's. Just love them and that melody I said before!
But, as Mark said, what was your experiment? You didn't give him a proper answer to that. I bet it were those slides into Nirvana...
