Hello,
for barred C songs (2/2 time signature written as 4/4), the all quarter note metronome is not very relevant and I would like to hear the half note metronome (every 2 times).
How to do ?
If this is not possible it would be nice to allow it.

In Options, Preferences, Count-in/Metronome, there is a pull-down for Pattern. The next-to-last option is ..2..4..2
See if that is helpful.
EDIT: I tried it, and it's not working as I expected. Also, after making any change here, remember to regenerate the song.

and thank you for your response.
For me the option you indicate only concerns the count in bdefore starting the song, and not the metronome after starting.
In any case, this option does not work for me, even after regenerating the song.

My mistake, you actually want the metronome to continue, not just as a count-in.
I would like to try some experiments. Could you tell me the genre you are using, and the tempo?
For example, samba at half-note = 110. Or bluegrass at quarter-note = 200.
