Yep, just what the title said it was.

I enjoyed this listen. Gotta get that harmonic VSTi sometime. Sadly, my car just got an expensive repair so my "fun" money is gone for now. But it sounds like you're having fun with it. laugh

Thanx David.

I feel your pain as I am having some house repairs and my "fun" money is extremely limited.

Doc-take it easy John this is just a sharp scalpel. It will not cut deep so don't worry.

This is simply epic. Bravo.

The second time the D major section arrives ... and the subsequent E flat major section ... it's as if sunlight is suddenly shining in an otherwise dark forest.

The only complaint I have is that it ends too soon!!! I could have easily heard double that time amount of this piece. BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO ... beautiful creation!

Mario,

This is an outstanding instrumental . . . really subtle touches in the production that convey such depth of sadness and longing. Love your use of stings on this throughout. Terrific!

All my best to you,

Whoa! Knock me over with lonely. Man, you got each of those instruments to cry and the whole piece is flooded in loneliness. Mario, you are one of the finest mood music writers I've ever heard. Seriously, you could do soundtracks for a movies and make a ton on money, but I am so glad to hear your productions here. Heck, movies could be made from the music you produce. This one has cactus, sunsets and dust-blown tumbleweeds.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Man Mario, you outdid yourself with this one. I absolutely loved it. I really get into the cowboy feel of the harmonica, and the mando made me think of a spaghetti western. I love westerns and I love spaghetti, so you know I loved this one!

Marty, thanx so much for this wonderful review. It can take we a while to compose one of these songs so I really don't want to be pressured with deadlines. I played in wedding bands for years playing what other's wanted to hear but now I play for myself and if others get enjoyment out of my songs then that's a huge plus.

You've captured the essence of a lonely soul with your composition. The changes/parts keep my ears attuned to what's going to come next. Well put together in production.

Mario,
Neat fusion of instruments and styles. Excellent job on harmonica! Really like that mandolin. Everything sounds wholesome. The only minor suggestion is that mandolin tremolo cuts out a bit abruptly in a few places, in my opinion should go out more softly. Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

Thanx Misha for listening. The mandolin was a freebee that was only tremolo picking. I tried fading it out and it didn't sound natural. If it was a better sound source I would have ended the tremolo with a single note and let that note fade out.

Hi Scott C,

This composition is a success. The playing of the harmonica is subtle because it fits perfectly into the symphonic orchestration. The arpeggiated guitar is also very smooth. I appreciated.
