I've got BIAB 2020, 2021, and 2022.
I like Fusion, R&B, and some Jazz. What package(s) would be the best for me?

Thanks for the reply, the only packages I have are the ones listed above, I bought BIAB_2020 and updated for 2 years to BIAB_2022. I would prefer both RTs, and Midi. I like to take the music and provide my own instruments.

Okay, I've got the regular BIAB-2022. In a chat I was told I had a MegaPAK. I have no prior knowledge of a MegaPAK, so when I upgraded to 2022, did I get a MegaPAK? Also here is a song I wrote and recorded to give you an idea how how I use BIAB. I got the idea for the song from a BIAB selection and the basically replaced everything including the chords. But I got the idea from BIAB and that's what's important. https://youtu.be/YQIE5Lh0rKk

Hi Todd,
Before you do anything contact PGMusic and find out exactly what package you did purchase. They are a real friendly and knowledgeable group of people. They may offer an upgrade path.
Probably you will want the UltraPac as that has everything. If you want the best RTs then you will want the AudiophilePac. The AudiophilePac has WAV RTs while the other Pacs have WMA RTs. I have the UltraPac.
That song was fantastic and your singing family sounds great. You are one hell of a guitarist. It looks like you have a super studio to work with. I am very jealous!

You can also go to pgmusic.com and look up your purchase history there. It will list the packages you have purchased. If you don't have an online account, you can register with the serial number of the last purchase you did make.

Thank you Mario for the very kind words. Yes, I do have a pretty nice studio, it's an LEDE control room I built back in 1980. They were popular for professional control rooms back then. I have contacted PGMusic but I'm still confused. This is a pict of my 2022 what my "Programs" folder looks like. It looks to me like purchased BIAB-2022 in late December 21, does it look that way to you and does the folder structure look right. Thanks sslechta, I tried that but didn't get very far, at least not to anything that looked personal. I'll give it another try.

I always recommend that folks buy the version as far up the food chain/price ladder, as they can reasonably afford. The ultra pak for example has everything in it. The closer you get to that, the more tracks and style are available to you. Especially if you want to do jazz styles in your music. Fusion and R&B are also included. You can look at the various levels and see exactly what tracks and styles are in each. https://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.packages.htmroll over the icons to see the specifics
You can find my music at: www.herbhartley.comAdd nothing that adds nothing to the music. You can make excuses or you can make progress but not both. The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

The ultra pak for example has everything in it. Confusingly even that isn't quite true. The UltaPAK+ and the Audiophile edition also include the "Songs & Lessons PAK", which the others don't and the OmniPAK contains also other products that PGM sell separately. Personally I find it all very confusing and not a little irritating. One can waste hours trying to decipher what is and what is not included in any particular package.

Thanks much Bob, Guitarhacker, and Gordon. Bob, I did chat with them yesterday 3 times and based and that chat and this post, I’m convinced there is no right package for my needs. And since I’ve already had BIAB-2020, 2021, and 2022, I go along with Gordon on the time it takes to go through any particular package. I would very much like to see them put their packages together in a more practical way, where the various types of music could be purchased separately instead of everything all bunched together. They could keep the packages they have, but offer the separate types in separate packages. I know I’d be a whole lot more prone to buy if that were the case. Right now I’m looking at the MegaPAK because it’s the most affordable, but just thinking about the time involved in finding things causes me to hesitate, and that’s a big HESITATE. I might add, I’m not a bigtime BIAB user. Please don’t think me bragging here, I’m 80 years old and I’ve been a professional musician. audio engineer, and producer for over 50 years. I’m sort of retired now but I do have a few clients that just wont let me go. However that’s not my point. Right now my main need is to come up with a song for a virtual band that I belong to. We’re in a contest to write and produce a song, and have it done by the 17th of June. So I’m looking for ideas. I’m also looking for ideas that my personal band can perform, we’re called the “Stillwell Family Band”. Here’s a video of a song I put together last summer. I put all the music together and my wife Cheryl and daughter TaSha did the singing. https://youtu.be/DGoFC0loS54Thanks everybody for your help.

You can purchase individual RT paks: https://www.pgmusic.com/realtracks.all.php?os=winJust keep scrolling down to find them all. If you are looking for only a genre or two this may be cost affective. However if you want a lot of RTs then it is better to purchase the mega or ultra pak.
