Pretty song - it's well into April, so it looks like I'm late for this train.

The synths seem a bit much in places - especially near the beginning - but other than that... smooth sailing! laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi MarioD,

The sound of the sax is perfect. Very cozy atmosphere with very vaporous musical layers. Well done.

Kindly regard

Mario,
Neat relaxing tune. Excellent work on sax and bass. Strings are good, but they overpowering other things a bit.
Title works! Good one. Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

Your writing is like fine wine - it just gets better and better. This is such simply beautiful music, period. No pretence, no nonsense - just great music. Loved it.

Thanx David. I'll have to take a look at those synths. I do have a habit of not balancing mixes. Thanx for pointing that out.

Thanx. Those Swam saxes are super, very realistic.

The bass level is about the same as the kick and a little less than the snare so in the right territory.
The controlled /midi sax flows nicely... good work on the wind controller.

Cheers

Mario,

April Sky works for me! The smooth gentle sound gives the feel of a calm lovely spring day! This one is great for high blood pressure therapy! After listening, I think I can be safe in checking mine now!

Thanks, TB

Thanx so much Ray. That wind controller is great for horns and woodwinds.

I'm always amazed at what you do with the wind controller, Mario.
And you play a really nice bass.
For my taste, I would remove the pad in the background (and probably even the B-3) to have more focus on the other elements of the song, especially the sax.

Thanx so much. I do enjoy playing the bass and wind controller almost as much as I like playing the guitar.

Good suggestions that I will try to implement in my next song.
