The following is a record of my own explanation

By default, four chords can be entered directly per bar.
In fact, each bar is 8 beats

And then one to the ^ means one beat ahead
In other words, in 7 bars, D is on the first beat, ^C is on the fourth beat, and Bm is on the seventh beat

In 8bar, ^Am on beat 2

The final G is on beat 5 and D is on beat 7


This is how I understand it. To be honest, as a person who doesn't understand English, the BIAB design really gives me a headache.
