Skillful lyrics with a universal theme.

Yep ... just like my radio dialed itself back to 1979, and George Strait released a new one. I thought the bass line could have been upped just a bit. Regardless, it was a great listen. As is everyone else, I'm always in awe of how casual and effortless your songs always sound.

Your lyrics are super relatable and the tune is catchy - I can't stop humming it! Your vocals, production, and mix are all top-notch as usual.
I really love all the internal rhymes and harmonies you've got going on in there. Overall, it's a solid and nostalgic country tune with some seriously skillful lyrics and a universal relatable theme.

This harkens back to the Country music I last enjoyed in the 80's! That's not a knock in any way! That's a fresh sound again to my ears! Love the tempo, fits the phrasing of the lines so well! I enjoyed how well you worked that pedal steel in there without anything sounding "off". I always struggle with that! The vocal is great as are the tight harmonies! You prove with every post that you are at the top of the mountain around here and have the chops to be a major Country star, and that's a fact!

typical heart-broke-start-it-up-again song.????? No, nothing you do qualifies as "typical" Floyd. This is a REALLY sweet song!!! Love the message......something we can all relate to from some time in our lives. The production and vocals are FANTASTIC, and I love the rhythmic groove of the chorus......catchy and fun!!!
