This is just a guess. Make sure BIAB is using the Helix for input and output in the sound setting for BIAB.
2nd On your Mac go to System Settings and make sure Helix is set to input and output under Sound. Do this with BIAB closed and then re open BIAB after you made changes.
In Windows ASIO driver for Helix will give low latency as you already know, Macintosh is automatically set.
I used to have Helix and would set it up for input and output on Mac but did not have BIAB at that time.
