Marty, Goodness! that was far too short!! Diggin' the Dixie. Nice added Bass (of course) Nice clear vocals. Excellent mix. "CiCi, she can see all the glee that's surrounding me." HEHEHE. HEHEHE.  fj Ooo, I love it when a comment starts off with "goodness." Thanks, Floyd. Diggin' your addition to the CiCi line. Kinda reminds me of "They're coming to take me away...Ah-ha-he-he." What a cool groove Marty. Loved the bounce to the tune. Trombone and clarinet were a perfect add to the tune. Super vocal and lyric. Well done.. Loved the video... Thanks for ALL your comments, Scott. So much appreciated!! My favorite part of the video was the whacky guy with the propeller hat. Marty, Fun old time motif tune. You captured vibe very well. You are a perfect fit for Dixieland, Marty! Janice had “happy feet” from the get-go.  We love all the rhymes and now know who to go to when looking for help with them! Your vocal and bass are ace and the clarinet is so good. What a good video too. Love the iguana and the happy colorfully dressed dancer. I bet you had fun making this vid! Swing on! J&B

Hahahaha - grinning from ear to ear! Brilliant! The bass is wonderful, the melodies are fun, your singing is on point ... and I'm dancing like there is no tomorrow! Reminds me of Baloo's "The Bare Necessities", from "The Jungle Book" ;-) - and that's a MAJOR compliment :-) Superb.
Fun, fun video!!! Much darker lyrics than the tune suggests, am I right? ;-) Superb job, the juxtaposition of those darker lyrics to the dancing tune is seamlessly done. Hats off to you, sir - bravo. Hey, James. Thanks for the MAJOR compliment, an I get it. I always wanted to do a version of When I See An Elephant Fly from the cartoon version of Dumbo. Actually the lyrics are more nonsense than anything, but I'd say the singer and CiCi are happier than the singee. Marty,

What a fun listen that was . . . Going dixieland on this was a moment of inspiration . . . just the perfect mood and feel for this lyric and your vocal shines. A toe-tapper for sure. Very cool!

Deej Thanks, Deej. Polka was the only other option for this comedy, and I didn't even check to see if BiaB has any. This is a classic Marty composition. Very upbeat and optimistic.
I love the style. It works well with the melody and lyrics. A step back in time.

Woo-hoo Creative change from the usual, but still the trustworthy positive vocal delivery and fun play with words and rhymes. Enjoyed the band that supports that "crazy melody", the soloists bring smile. I can definitely imagine Marty of 1920's being very popular with this kind of songs Janne
