Howdy everyone.... Well....I finally came up with a new phrase to flesh out into a coherent song. The moral of the song as I quote myself: "If you can't take an honest answer....don't ask for anyone's opinion." This was an easy write comparatively because I have a strong opinion about it.....obviously, by now. I enjoyed working with Ken again and I thank him sincerely for his time and stellar musicianship. So....on that note....thanks to anyone to gives it a spin and hope you found it worthy of your time....if not, I owe you 3:28. Wayne, Fun rocker. Seems you can't go wrong with Ken. Arrangement, instrumentals, vocals all good. But I think vocals can come up a bit. It would be cool if you had female BGVs on it. Thank you for sharing. Misha. P.S. https://www.soundclick.com/artist/de...?bandID=897733 seems to be broken.

Howdy Rob....Marty....Misha and Elliott. Misha.... Ha....I read your mind and was awaiting that suggestion. Sometimes, I just don't care for that 'pop' mix vox being so up front. Thanks for giving a spin and thoughtful suggestion. It's always appreciated. Marty.... We're pleased you dig it. TBH....I didn't know if the subject matter/lyrics would stick against the forum wall. I had apprehensions but worked up my courage, finally. Rob.... Glad you found it worthy of your time....thank you. Your latest one is a very good write with great imagery. Elliott.... EDIT: "Sounds like a live track that you recorded at a bar gig." Good catch Elliot....to create that perception was quite intentional. I deferred the FINAL MIX decision to Ken at his studio. He sent me the first mix and I suggested putting a "a slight Room 2 reverb on the stereo mix" because I prefer to hear music rendered as if it was in a "live club" venue. Guess I'm stuck in my live band days era. Oh jeez....I'm an idiot. I fixed the Soundcloud link but, for the life of me, since Soundclick's new format I can't figure out how to just show the song page itself.....I've tried everything I can think of. Guess I'm not the brightest bulb. Many thanks for taking the time to listen and kind comments. Thanks again to all of you for listening/commenting. Have a great weekend everyone.

Ha....I really didn't know if that line would be acceptable or PC but that's never stopped me before. I did try to keep it "playful" and not too smug or scathing.
