I got a little excited that I think I recall Peter recently posted they are working on this for a 2023 update patch? I work in logic and do a lot of free tempo recording playing acoustic and singing country/pop songwriter stuff. Logic seamlessly averages tempo of the file when it prints, which is fine. But for ritardandos or live-feel sometimes I want to leave it variable and be able to have BIAB follow the tempo map in Logic. This would be absolutely amazing and make BIAB a force to be reckoned with. Also, to have some way BIAB be can easily and accurately interpret the polyphonic audio right out of the DAW with an improved ChordWizard in the plugin would also be remarkable. This is clearly within reach for the good folks on the development team, and I think this functionality has come of age. Can I get a witness?? God bless everyone. Thanks

P.S. I need to update my footer system info as am currently running latest Logic on 2020 MacBook Pro M1. I currently use BIAB 2022 from the desktop and from the BIAB external drive, not natively. Please let me know if I’m missing anything - like if this variable tempo functionality I mentioned is already available in BIAB ‘23 for Mac (or Windows for that matter)…in the VST/AU. Thx again

I didn't reply initially as I though PG would reply to help the user, but when no one replied I replied and told the truth and then the post was deleted. So it seems easier for PG to delete things rather than answer questions. If you don't want criticism just get rid of the forum and we will all live with our heads in the sand. Cancel any users that dares criticize, get rid of them it will make the old guard's job a lot easier, they will praise you for it.

This is in the wishlist from 2008, it's the same issue that's here.

The tempo of ACW has a higher resolution/fractions/decimal point accuracy, so when importing the anolized song, it screws it up because it can't see fractions/decimal points as accurately as portrayed by the ACW's tempo decimal pointed tempo.
It tries to follow by changing the tempo quickly...and this causes rather bad transitions between bars and beats.

I see that Real band uses powertracks audio and ACW...I believe power tracks audio has a better tempo resolution...one more in line with ACW...so less confusion when importing the song from ACW.

What I would like to see is BB using that same resolution in the tempo...so that the ACW can be used with greator success!

Just one of my wishes...It would make the hole package worth while.
