This bouncing bubbly song really made me smile  Great band and enjoyable guitar playing. Excellent crisp mix, although I have to admit, I missed some vinyl scratches. But true honey of this song is Janice's voice. I would love to see her singing this live with the band, dancing in 1920's costume. Janne

I've never heard the original, but I would have guessed it was from the 1920s. Sounds authentic. Great upbeat vibe and of course fantastic work by all involved. Oh, and I LOVE the "vocal" solo or whatever you call something like that  Thanks I also love the scat vocal. Peter

I'm not familiar with the original but this is a cool, easy listening rendition.
Janice's vox style is unmistakable with the stellar delivery.

So cool! Everything fits the era and mood of the song. Janice's scat singing and the intentional breaking of her voice in a few places are really special. And the piano track puts the perfect icing on the project. And Peter's guitar is spot on (isn't it always?).

You've authentically captured the essence on this song. Great performances, arrangement, and production. This songs begs to be on a 78, although I don't think many turntables have that speed option anymore.

Peter & Friends. Sorry to be so late for the party. Fantastic re-take! Very energetic & even narrative is somewhat sad, performed in very positive manner. Ok!!! New tone in Janice's vocal timbre ... very clear, very direct. The scat singing is perfectly on point. And I mean it: perfectly. Ella Fitzgerald would have been proud. Peter's guitar playing is top notch. The rhythms are tight, one can tell people have been doing their homework, here But this recording is made by Janice's stellar singing. Never heard her sound better. Her best, perhaps? BRAVI, all ... a special "well done" to Janice, though, on this one ... taking her place amongst the illustrious names who recorded this song before - rightfully and deservedly so, in my view. Brilliant, BRAVA, BRAVI, all ... oh, I simply must mention Bud, too ... a super clean mix. Hats off.
