Ok!!! New tone in Janice's vocal timbre ... very clear, very direct. The scat singing is perfectly on point. And I mean it: perfectly. Ella Fitzgerald would have been proud. Peter's guitar playing is top notch. The rhythms are tight, one can tell people have been doing their homework, here smile But this recording is made by Janice's stellar singing. Never heard her sound better. Her best, perhaps? smile BRAVI, all ... a special "well done" to Janice, though, on this one ... taking her place amongst the illustrious names who recorded this song before - rightfully and deservedly so, in my view. Brilliant, BRAVA, BRAVI, all ... oh, I simply must mention Bud, too ... a super clean mix. Hats off.
