Flight cases.

If you are gigging, the absolute best protection you can get for your instruments is the minimum you should go for.

IMO, the “Gig Bag” is the most misnamed product in the music catalog. It's probably designed so you will harm your instrument and force you to buy a new one.

Back on topic.

As a gigging musician, I go for good instruments, but I go for the point of diminishing returns. If throwing another $100 makes it 25% better, I go for it. If throwing another $100 makes it look better but not play/sound better, forget about it. One-nighters are hard on gear, even if you transport them in flight cases.

So I would never buy that type of guitar. I'm a player, not a collector.
