You make my point for me. Lynott's death, while primarily due to septicaemia, was not an uncomplicated one. The temptation to dramatize death of "rock stars" is strong for obvious reasons. At the time many assumed he'd died of AIDS. Had Lynott fallen off a ladder and the autopsy found very minor traces of opioids in his system the chart wouldn't have placed him let alone put a red ladder beside his name.
