Bob...this is such a great production all round...you have masterfully used the real tracks to create a wonderful folk/Americana feeling...the acoustic is perfect both to convey the lyric and nuance of the song...I love the cello (always so haunting and mellow)...the song fits your voice so well and tells a sad yet relatable story...top-tier!!

One of the most striking, individualistic voices I've heard on here. Well done. Brilliant band - minimalist, as someone has already said - and therefore the message of the song highlights itself even more. The lyrics stand out, for me. Subtle and beautiful. Them, and your voice, coupled with the simple accompaniment, make this song. Hats off to you, sir, a small masterpiece you have, here.

Janice said we should print all of your lyrics and bind them in a book of “favorite poems.” This is delightful, Bob. The cello fits so well with those guitar tracks. And we always love an open airy mix ... great work. No matter what she should never have left her dog.  Loved it!
