It's a great achievement that immediately immersed me in the atmosphere of Pink Floyd. And if we could go back like when we listened to Dark Side of the Moon with our adolescent wonder. Thank you for this bath of youth. Laurent
It was an impressive album and remains a classic. Thanks.

WOOOOOW!!!!! I guess I'm late to the party. Just had an 8 minute trip to the dark side of the moon and got a great contact high!!!! This is my favorite of yours so far Ray!!!! What are the tracks? (missed the earlier version(s)?). Take care. Greg
No one is late at the party that never ends... The BIAB tracks are listed a couple of spots above this comment. Thanks.

The soothing ocean waves go so well with the wonderful piano. It’s mesmerizing. Wow, Ray, you’ve done a terrific mix of the BiaB tracks and your performances and Fran’s mastering aced it. That open/airy feel is hard to achieve and you nailed it. That piano is top of the bar in chops and tone for the song. We like the gospel bgv’s and are reminded of Ruthie Foster’s excellent vocals. Bravo! J&B PS You said, "his was a case of subtraction...I had lots going on and needed to cut away stuff to get to the core." True that! The old adage that perfection is when there is nothing left to take away.
I looked her up...BIG voice. Thank you sir & ma'am.

I must admit that I didn't look much at the video because I got so absorbed and lost in the sound. That was great. I don't have the musical vocabulary to articulate my thoughts but the music was complex but not overwhelming. I like the descending bass line in certain parts== that was just a little thing (of the many things) that stood out for me. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!
Thanks, Perhaps it could be cochrane's swallow - "Una hirundo non facit ver" or cochrane's chao from "Ordo ab chao".

Nice mix. All the accolades are well deserved. I know what it takes to produce something like this and you hit the bullseye. I wish the drums had a bigger (louder) presence and the main piano some times overpowered the vocals (on studio phones) but other than that it was great. Of course this is all IMHO but thats what we do here right? Wonderful song, kudos.

Thanks Rick, The drum were bigger for a while but I took that back to where I felt they's have been in the early 70s...it was, after all, an exercise in way back machining. The vocals - not as buried as I'd like them...being overpowered/whelmed is part of the design...narrative...plan PLUS it's my voice which needs cremation more often than internment.

Nicely done Ray. A definite Pink Floyd vibe. Did you post the lyrics somewhere?
The piano and bass particularly stood out to me. Great job.

Thanks Thumper. I did in the Work In Progress thread but here they are again: LYRICS To each his own is what we are told But not those whose lives are bought & sold Your place is held if you comply Though no warranty will apply
The truth is hidden in your mind So deeply you will never find The proof that hovers near your tongue Despite the stories that you’ve sung
On and on conspiracies combine Create a thatch held with brittle twine To house your fears and keep them warm While watching for the coming storm
