I've just updated to Mac2023 and BIAB keeps crashing on my M1 Pro using Ventura 13.3 16 GB.
The crash report includes this info:
Invalid dylib load. Clients should not load the unversioned libssl dylib as it does not have a stable ABI.

I hadn't seen any reference to Rosetta in the install instructions.
Any help appreciated

Thanks - the crash report would be useful, but those two lines are not the part we need. It would also be extremely helpful to know specifically what you were doing when it crashed. Can you please send this information to support@pgmusic.com, and attach the crash report?

I hadn't seen any reference to Rosetta in the install instructions. BIAB is not Apple Silicon Native and must be run over Rosetta 2 on an AS machine, You can enable this by running Get Info on the app and checking the box.

I've had no issues with BiaB on my new Mac Mini M2 Pro.
I don't recall the first app I ran on it but I got a message that lasted about a nanosecond and I saw the word Rosetta before it disappeared. All of my old apps, some legacy, and eight year old plug-ins all run fine.
Heck, I even tried to overload Logic by loading multiple productions each with instances of the same plug-in on each track along with BiaB running and not a blip. I did run across a video where a guy tried to bomb Logic with well over 100 tracks on the same setup as mine ... 16gb RAM. That convinced me to go with 16 rather than the 24 or 32 I've run on previous Macs.
