I'm fairly new to BIAB, though I've used an older program called The Jammer for many years, so I'm not new to many of the ideas in BIAB...
I have watched videos on how to do various tags and endings, hold chords, etc., but I'm wondering if there's a simple way to do a basic blues ending walkup (often called an Ellington Ending) with the half step at the end?
Obviously, I can export everything into my DAW and manually enter the notes for those last 2 bars, but before I do that for a LOT of tracks, I want to make sure I'm not missing something in my approach.
I really do like the sounds of the RealTracks, more than I thought I would and I have some really nice samplers, so I was hoping to do this with those sounds rather than having to only use MIDI.
I've also seen the "playable real track," but I'm not sure if that will do what I want yet, I haven't dug in that far. Again, before I do I'm hoping to get some input from an experienced person on what to chase down as a workflow.
I am afraid BIAB will not provide that "lick" ending with any of its default 2 or 4 bar endings. Or at least I have never heard it. Otherwise, certainly doable with midi. And possibly a good candidate for the "playable real track. Give it a try and let us hear the results.

If you'd like to send in a song file example in an SGU or MGU format with the tracks frozen to support@pgmusic.com, we can take a look for you and see if it's something in the settings that we can see. Unless you have some hold/shot/rest options for your instruments programmed in they should be ending when you specify (not taking into account a two or four bar ending for RealTracks, which you can disable if you wish).
