Janice and Floyd, this is pure country, which is a genre that I like a lot, and you more than did it justice.
Super vocals, lyrics, and mix.
Loved it.
We appreciate that, Mario... Floyd and Janice ...
I'll make this short and to the point. If someone asked me to define country music of the 80s and 90s, I'd simply give them the URL to this song. What else needs to be said? Basically, nothing.

I love it all! It's got that classic country music sound. You and Danny really wrote some good stories. It's got a conversational tone, tells the story while feeling natural, and has a "feel good" ending. My favorite line: now isn't this better, they think we're togetherAnd of course, excellent heartfelt singing. Janice perfect here - as you said, a no brainer. I like the way you snuck the drum in one bit at a time. Great arrangement. As I said - I love it all. Very much appreciated, David...' Pro level song Floyd. Awesome vocal and Janice's harmonies were perfect. Excellent lyric and backtrack. One of my favorites Thanks, Scott!

It's all been said above. This is classic top shelf Floyd and Janice vocal work, great, sad love lyrics and superb band.
Pro all the way. Thanks, BT... Now that's a slow dancing, beer nursing song. Your voice is in top form here. Janice's harmony lifts an already good chorus to a new level. Thanks, Scott... Great song and superb vocals Floyd & Janice - fabulous production too!!

Definitely pure country. Nice touching story by telling only about the current moment, not what had happened or what happened later. The music supports the melancholy, fiddles and piano work well. Good emotional vocals and harmonies.
