I got a surprise package today.
Didn't ever mention wanting it, but Eddie sent it anyway.
At least he knows my legacy.
Thanks, man.

Well, Herbstock was lacking a certain "presence" without you, thus...

Very cool...

Yes indeed....

Eddie's online persona isn't even close to how he really is. Just a great guy. I'm looking forward to next year's Herbstock III already.

Just how many years, or decades, has it been your fault? It goes way back. It’s my fault I can no longer remember why it’s your fault.

My wife asked me that (when I had to explain the T-Shirt) and I had to think back ..
Might have made the leap to XP by then, but it was close.
This was the oldest I could find in a cursory search on this site. It was already a gag by then. 2010 is a long time ago to me.

Eddie, how many post here are not related to music here ?
I know I've helped you out so many times over a 12 year period and I don't get any respect because I post something that is over your head ? if I have been through things that most others have not would I not deserve a bit of respect ?
Whoever is deleting is just as bad and that will all come to light soon.
If I post technical things and it's over your head don't blame me, sure some things you understand and implement, but other things you can't understand, I can assure you they will come back to bite. There are easy ways of learning things and hard ways.

It actually is music-related. Or it was originally. It was an inside joke among the earliest forum users and it had something to do with something in BIAB not working.

No, we're not going to be able to prove it, because the forum software was replaced in summer 2000, and everything started anew. All the old posts were lost and a few of us pre-date that.

And of course blaming Bob was as useful as blaming sunspots, but more fun.

My 2 cents:

Eddie's kind of a neat guy. He wears his heart on his sleeve. 'Mostly' he looks out for others. I think he's done it tough but always pulled through. That surprise gift shouldn't surprise us. Eddie is very much WYSIWYG wink

Good one, Eddie, even though it's still RHarvs fault grin grin grin
