I replaced many of the indigenous style instruments. The way I write my instrumentals is I first fill in the chords. I then find a style that reflects the "character" I was looking for - at least, the closest thing to it. Then as necessary, I replace the indigenous instruments as needed to further develop the sound to my liking. Because I changed out many of the instruments, it might not sound real close to the original style.

I almost always start with chord input and then search through the styles for one I like, and then mix and match instruments until I get the final sound. There have been a few times I heard a style I liked and then created a song within it, but usually, it's the opposite way.

I just got lazy and failed to mention the instruments I replaced and deleted. Sorry for the confusion - my bad!

But the song did start in the Pictures style and then morphed from there.

But it is encouraging to know that some folks actually take the time to check out the info provided. That put a smile on my face!

Take care ...

Alan
