Are you talking about repeats within a song or repeating the entire song.
For eliminating repeats within a song try edit/song form/unfold, numbers 1-3 in picture.
For eliminating the entire song repeating change the number of measures and repeats, number 4. Or click on the loop icon and make your selection there, numbers 1-2 in pic #2.
