Solaria sounds better and better (might slow the vibrato a bit) but there’d be more Soul if you were singing it!

A nice display of synth vocals, BiaB and Guitarhacker talent.

Well done!

Yeah... fits right in.... always good.... and yeah, I need to play some guitar on some of this stuff. Thanks for the comments and for taking the time to listen.

The vocal has an odd nasal, vaguely flat sound on some syllables like O'Riordan from the Cranberries.
Imagine having to say that a synth voice is sibilant - but it is a bit.
Musically this builds as it goes along but it does seem to reach peak intensity a little early.
I can hear and understand why the bass chugs a lot but it does it quite a bit.
The hold at about 2.10 isn't as convincing as the one at 2.02.
Really tidy band arrangement and you've programmed a cool melody, (though the hook gets hammered quite a bit - ear worm in the making I suppose).
I can imagine this working well at Hillsong Sydney.

Cheers

In agreement with Firesong (aka, Daniel) I love the topic. Great production choices. Please consider posting the lyrics with each song you post though. Who is the co-writer?

I always appreciate the detail you provide on your critiques. The holds.... maybe... I didn't actually think the first one was a hold and the second one is a reverse audio that really didn't work as well as I wanted. Maybe too short.

As always, thanks for your feedback.

So I didn't post the lyrics. I usually do that but I figured this one was easy to understand.

Cowriter: Jeff Rivendell

Lyrics:

Jesus My Brother

When I was down you picked me up
and put me on my feet
When all was dark you were the light
you filled my world with peace

Jesus my Lord and Savior
Jesus King of Kings
I praise your holy name
Forever you remain
Jesus my Brother, Jesus my best friend
Jesus my advocate, with me to the end

My life was empty
then you filled my heart to overflow
When I was lost you rescued me
And said you won't let go

Chorus

You stand with me you are my world
the light that guides me arms that hold me
saved my soul you gave me peace
You are my Lord you are my God
