Styles can be located in either the main BIAB folder (where you installed BIAB) or in a sub-folder called "Styles". Also, a style can be located in the same folder as the song you are loading; however, you won't see it in the style picker. As I understand it, BIAB looks for styles in the folder where the song is loaded, then in the main BIAB folder, then in the Styles sub-folder.
I keep all my PGMusic, Norton, and Finetuned styles in the main BIAB folder, but I keep all the styles I've downloaded from the web in the Styles folder. It provides at least a little bit of organizations.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
