Hi Marty, Janne and Torrey,
Thanks for your very nice comments on the song. They made me a bit blushful.
Terrific mix, Hans, and no one builds dynamics better than you. I really like how you mixed the harmonies making them so full. It increases the power of the song. Not sure I can tell Ray's contribution, but I agree that he is very inspirational and helpful. He may not always be listed in the credits, but his influence is constant. You already know I love this song, Hans. A cool Hans meets Hans song.
Hi Marty, yes you knew the song. It was my plan to drop in in the forum the day I had that surge, but I wasn't able to do that then.
But you listened to a version where the second part was totally different. i kept that as a surprise for you too. And apparantly you weren't shocked. Thanks!
Wow, clever lyrics, yeah we all know that guy. I like the way you end the story "It only took some time to see".
Another exciting arrangement, from intro to the outro so many interesting things happen. The rhythm bed is especially nice.
Harmonies are excellent, really professional sounding, making the song gospel like. The chorus melody is superb and when the fiddle joins in, I'm sold. One of the best mixes I have heard for a long time. And like always, I enjoyed your powerful voice and all the small details you express.
Your songs just get better and better, I'm really excited to hear what's next in your pipeline, I really hope you can sing again as soon as possible

Janne
Wow, Janne, what a nice comment you gave me (again). I don't know what's in the pipeline yet, because it is out of order momentarily.
But when reading your words I realized you razed my bar! So maybe I come to you for assistance of Natalie or any other AI-voice you can offer me ;-))3*
Hans,
Very good sounding song! I thought I was listening to a new Al Stewart song (you sound a lot like him here)! Everything sounds excellent to me especially the vocals! I"ll leave the technical aspects to others to comment on but sounds right to me!
Thanks, TB
Hi Torrey, comparing me with Al Steward, well... that's a big compliment! Although Janice and Bud always call me John...
I think I wear them both, ok?
Have a very nice weekend,
Hans
