Every Day I Have The Blues Hi Folks, Here's my version of "Every Day I Have The Blues" written by Aaron "Pinetop" Sparks and first performed 1935. It is one of the most covered Blues songs of all time including; The Count Basie Orchestra with Joe Williams, B.B. King, John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Elmore James, Delbert McClinton, Ray Charles, Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, Ella Fitzgerald just to name a few. Cool version, Nigel. Didn't know this was in public domain. Such a a strong intro, and then there's your perfect sounding vocal. So good. I like the walking version and you used the best RTs.

It is tough to tastefully do a rendition and maintain vintage feel & drive.. the right way. It seems you mastered that skill quite well. Absolutely great performance, arrangement and mix. Fun listen and thank you for sharing.

I always love your music! Shuffle Blues is one of my very favorite genres. And these old blues numbers are just so great. You have a great voice and know how to properly use it.
That short bass lead section is so dang good!
