I apologize if this comes across as overly negative.

First, I'm listening in headphones, so the stereo effect is really accented. In my (emulated) speakers, the mix is much better and much more balanced.

This feels like there's a lot going on at full volume - it's very much in your face, and there's not much dynamics.

I'm not a big fan L/C/R panning when the a lead instrument is placed to the side. That's what it sounds like you've done with the sax solo. That gets old really fast.

The splash cymbal never lets off, and it makes me want to reach over to the drum kit and grab it so the drummer will stop. wink

So, as a song, it's good. As a mix, no so great in my headphones. Others may feel differently. smile
