Well for starters we have listened to the Allman Bros since their beginnings thru their final concert. Bud saw them live in a park in 1969 when they were unknown. All meaning we can deeply appreciate harmony and counter point twin leads. We've never tired of them and you captured it well! All of your and Chris' vocal ins and outs work very well. Good to hear your vocal out front. Excellent support from that bass guy. Great pop with that snare within an overall fine mix. Well done and fun to listen to (and watch)! J&B PS: A bit off topic but we being deep south folks have always been amused when the ABB are referred to as "southern rock." Polyrhythms, Jaimoe's jazzy drums mixed with Butch's rock drums, foundations of later blues rock, jazz rock fusion, melodic bass players, Gregg's just right amount of tasty B3 ... they did it all.
Our albums and singles are on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Pandora and more. If interested search on Janice Merritt. Thanks! Our Videos are here on our website.

The intro sizzles! Slinky, slick sound. Vocals are blended well (two by Chris and one by you?) Guitar solo is on fire too. Give the bass player a raise. Hey Scott, Chris actually sent me three tracks, but the high harmony only comes in at key spots. Thanks! Cool one.... First thought>>>> Blackfoot... but nope.
Kinda bluesy...
I enjoyed it. Nice guitar work. Thanks, Herb. Everything about this sizzles. The guitar intro is amazing as are Marty's pick up notes to kick in. Fab mix, fab performances. I really like the harmony work between Dave & Christine. The rhythm guitar "solo" from 2.35 seemed like a missed opportunity though. Not so much what was played but the tone/sound. One little nit but of no real consequence as the whole package is a blast. Hi Ray, Yeah, I got lazy and used the BIAB dude for that part. I would have played the same thing, but the tone of course would have been different. Thanks!

Yeah this deserves all the accolades. Nice piece of work everyone! This one really cooks! Dave have you seen the new weird purple devil star thing on your Reverb page and the website icon? Do you also feel it is ugly and obnoxious??

Hello Chris, Dave and Marty Extremely good song Sounds great Vocals, BGV's, bass all very good But Dave's guitar work makes this song so great A very impressive performance Dave Really a great collaboration from all involved Many greetings Andi ;-) Very much appreciate that, Andy! Dave,
Truly excellent. Possibly the best treatment of your vocals I've heard (lovely work by Chris in support). Marty holds it together well, and the guitar work is very nice nice indeed.
The only thing missing is a 3 minute twin guitar outro....
Peter Hi Peter, Having Chris do the unison vocal, which was her idea, kicked up the vocal quite a bit; my vocal by itself is nothing to write home about Thanks for the listen and comments! Hi BlueAttitude,
Nice musical construction. The lead guitar is nice. The set pleases. Could the ending be abrupt?
Well done
Kindly regard Derochette alias JaniJackFlash Thanks, Derochette!

Brilliant. It's all brilliant.
Vic Thanks, Vic! When I see a song by BlueAttitude know it is going to be a great one. And this is a great one. As usual everything is top shelf and perfect. Loved that rhythm guitar part and the double leads. You all are fantastic musicians and composers.
Loved it. Appreciate that, Mario! Like the groove, it really captures the train feel. Its jazzy, and rockish, and smooth. Excellent guitar work and tone. The bass is cooking!!! Thanks, Elliott!

Dave and team,
A killer track for sure! Dave your work with the Toontrack drums always sounds fabulous! Those Realtracks you used were excellent choices especially the guitar. I don't remember hearing you do a twin lead section before but you nailed it! Chris is a super vocalist and what a luxury it is to have her available for backup vox! It's easy to expect a solid bass performance on your tracks with Marty laying it down and he did not disappoint on this! Another wonderful job of guitar solo work and vocals Dave!
Thanks, TB

Very cool that you saw them in '69, Bud, that would have been the original lineup with Duane. I wore the grooves off the Live at the Fillmore Album back when I first got it, stole a few licks too And yeah, I never thought of them as being part of the Southern Rock scene either. Thanks for checking out the song and the video, very much appreciated! Yeah this deserves all the accolades. Nice piece of work everyone! This one really cooks! Dave have you seen the new weird purple devil star thing on your Reverb page and the website icon? Do you also feel it is ugly and obnoxious?? Yes, I've seen the new RN logo. Not a fan either. Thanks for checking out the song, David!

Funnily, although totally different, the start of the intro reminded me of another song, and it turned out to be Long Train Runnin', so you really know how to get the train going Superb guitar playing later in the intro. I felt also The Robert Cray Band mood, so you are really playing in the top league now. Good upbeat message, "Fold up the blanket, my time to roll/All the bills are paid to free my soul". Marty's bass and the vocal duet work splendidly, I can only admire your virtuosity, I wish that train would take you on a world tour. Janne

Chris, Marty, & Dave ...
What a great song! Watched and listen to the video - nice!
Everyone before me has pretty much said what I was thinking as I listened. The guitar smokes, the bass drives, and the vocals bring it all to life. This is one of the best-written, arranged, and produced songs I've heard on the forum in quite some time. There wasn't even a second that didn't capture my attention and made me so appreciative of the richness and grandeur of this song. WOW!!! sums it up for me!
Excellent in every way!
Alan

The band I was in in the early 90's covered a lot of his songs. The line you quoted was written by Chris, probably my favorite too. Thanks very much for the kind words, happy you liked this one

Blue Attitude team, Your best tune of 2023 to my taste. Very seasoned, yet doesn't have boring commercial feel. A very strong collaboration. Excellent blend of Chris + Dave voices, fantastic instrumentation by you and Marty and programming skills. Love the lead guitar section at 1:36. Mixed very professionally. Really cool tune (and video) Thank you for sharing.
Misha.
