I had no idea what this was when I read the label of the function.
This weekend I investigated and found that it can be a very powerful function
Try this scenario
Build a song with a bunch of chords, choose a style now enter multi rift with F6.
Here in multiriff you can ask band in a box to generate a sequence of bars within your song and choose an alternate style for those bars. Using an alternate style in the middle of the song can really energize that segment or portion of your song.
I found using multi riff gave me a completely different appreciation for having a large array of styles available at my fingertips.

Yes it is a powerful tool. I have used it many times. Very nice place to start. I often like the results, and if not I can regenerate or comp the tracks to get pretty nice stuff.
