Should there be?
I’m not suggesting that the help advice and guidance provided by these forms Be moved exclusively to Patreon. I’m thinking about it like the YouTube content providers use it where the tabs for whatever they present on YouTube are available on their Patreon page
Maybe Courses on biab specific topics
I was thinking about the Patreon option for deeper dives into some of the questions asked in the forums
Like the recent discussion of using midi
I don’t know if this would violate forum rules

I have an extremely jaded view of Patreon overall because it is kind of a form of extortion. "Come and see the LONGER version of this video, exclusively offered to those of you who give us even MORE of your money so we can all be millionaire millennials by age 30." It is the internet version of panhandling at the end of an exit ramp. Knowledge should be shared with everybody, not just those willing to shell out even more money than we pay every year for a product that functionally does not really change or see major upgrades. (Like new real guitar tracks from anybody but Brent Mason. We have 288 from him already. Go look it up.) Every year we see "1000 new styles!" that are mainly repacks of the ones that have been there for decades. (See my tale of woe in trying to find a style in the Real Band Wish List forum.)
This is similar to what would be considered segregation if we were talking about race. "YOU can come in, but YOU can't."
I mean, now I have to pay to TALK to you like I have been doing in the forums for years?
My opinion is that this is a very bad idea because it creates a caste system. This place is clique driven enough without creating yet another layer.

So, if I understand you, you are suggesting that some BIAB forum members attempt to charge the rest of us for support on BIAB?
Personally, I'd never pay for that. I already send PGM hundreds every year. And I am not about to pay some self-appointed "expert" to support the software.
I suspect this would be a losing endeavor for anyone who tries it.

This is lightly different, but there was a suggestion undertaken some years ago for members to assist to fund development of new / wanted features for BiaB. The intention was to create funding to get genuinely missing features implemented.
If I understand correctly, this was never endorsed by PG Music.
I doubt if a Patreon approach would be successful.
BIAB & RB2026 Win.(Audiophile), Windows 10 Pro & Windows 11, Cakewalk Bandlab, Izotope Prod.Bundle, Roland RD-1000, Synthogy Ivory, Session Keys Grand S & Electric R, Kontakt, Focusrite 18i20, KetronSD2, NS40M, Pioneer Active Monitors.

The intention was to create funding to get genuinely missing features implemented. Isn't that kind of what the purchase price is supposed to do? Provide some funding for R&D? This grazes off why I refuse to fly anymore. Luggage fees? Fuel surcharge? I have to pay to bring clean clothes with me AND chip in for gas? What exactly is the ticket price for?
