This vst3i plugin is crashing BIAB each time I instantiate it. I have used other organ vst instruments but BX3 is the one I want to use as my go to for that Hammond sound. Does anyone use this IK product and are you having issues with it? I don't use an external midi keyboard, simply put BX3 as a vsti on the midi organ track. I want to be able to tweak the sounds to match the song and render to a wave file for use in DAW. Does BIAB have trouble with vst3 plugins generally? Thanks

BIAB is not compatible with VST3.

Does BIAB have trouble with vst3 plugins generally? Thanks Band-in-a-Box and RealBand do not support the use of VST3 plug-ins and virtual instruments. Although no one can predict the future PG Music's owner, Peter Gannon, +++ POSTED +++ support of VST3 plugins and virtual instruments is planned to be included in the upcoming 2024 release.

Oh well!! BIAB is behind on this technology and has affected my use of the program as most of my plugins are now vst3.Thanks for your kind replies.

I know that at least some VST hosts will allow VST3s to be run inside a VST host.
IIRC Musocity often suggests Kushview Element, which is free and OpenSource.
There are commercial hosts too, of course.
Jazz relative beginner, starting at a much older age than was helpful.

Why don't you just use the VST2 version?.

Thanks for the reply's much appreciated, I tried the VST2 version which crashed BIAB once again, therefore I'll leave this as is for now and simply use the MIDI "Drag and Drop" DAW feature in BIAB and use the IK Hammond BX3 plugin on tracks as needed in Reaper. Once again I thank those forum members for your support regarding this issue. Peace Out!
