Yes, I agree with Floyd, heavy theatrical rock.

Well mixed, well conceived and well done my friend!

Thanks my friend smile

To be honest, I don't have much experience with this genre either, but inexperience has never been a reason for me not to do something!

In actuality we think floyd parsed things out exceedingly well. It is stadium filling in sound and the mix is simply powerful (amazing on the monitors).

And it may well be the first time we've listened all the way through what was described as a rap song; however your use of the rap intertwined with the very melodic singer turns out to be an epic juxtaposition. Well done genre melds like this are fun.

It's hard to fathom the amount of work that went into this!

J&B

Not my genre... no idea who you're talking about whistle
Thanks for listening and you positive feedback, Janice/Bud.
Glad you like it.

The amount of work was actually not much more than my usual songs, I just looked at the files and it started 4 weeks ago when I recorded the Sonata.
But I learned a lot more than usual because many things were new to me.

Very good work with the singers, in some parts I can hear unnatural flow ("mirror"), but that's how I feel with some bit hits also, so the problem is in my head smile. I appreciate the hard work it must have required to put all this together, your guitar work sounded fine among the BIAB guitars.

Janne

Thank you Janne for your really comprehensive feedback, especially on the lyrics.
Highly appreciated smile

Man those synth vocals sound real! Excellent job on that.

Loved those tempo changes and dynamics - brilliant.

Loved it.

Thanks Mario

I think Floyd invented a new genre. A Google search for "Heavy Theatrical Rock" showed this thread as the first result smile

Astounding production. You obvious paid meticulous attention to detail.

The two vocals work seamlessly well together.

It seems to me you have the rap lyrics down well.

Thanks Scott for listening and your feedback on the rap lyrics. Highly appreciated!

Brian,
To me it sounds like modern pop rock versions of bands like 2Unlimited, Milli Vanilli, etc. Excellent showcase of composition skills and production. Very professionally done. Thank you for sharing,
Misha.

Thanks, Misha, for listening and your nice comment.
I'm not sure Milli Vanilli would sound like that, but I get your idea smile
