This song came about after a brief chat with Marty, when I told him a story about my mother. He suggested it for a song, so here it is. Nice work memorializing your mother.
The vocal seems just a little loud/detached from the backing and there are a few strident/sibilant things that pop out here'n'there that could be controlled if you've a mind to.
Nothing that's a deal breaker though.

Excellent soft-rhymes.
Good BAND.
Mix is balanced. The vocal stands out. I might tuck-it-in just a tad.
The song stayed in my head for some time after listening. That's a good sign...

Oh, man, this is such fun, Vic. I saw and heard this several times but wasn't home to comment. I love the chorus, and you know I love your vocals and lyrics. The lyrics in this one are just perfect, and I like the twist toward the end. Perfect band, and you made us all love your mom. Cool twist of Bella donna.
