Hi Jo.
I've just been having a look at the "Conductor". I suggest you search the pdf manual for it or have a look under the Help menu and search for it.
The Conductor allows up to 10 sections to be set by users. It also can use part markers as a way of defining sections. Once sections are defined, the QWERTY keyboard can then be used to jump between those sections. I don't know too much about the Conductor because I have never played around with it, but it looks like it might be possible to use this to do some of what you want. It would be worth investigating.
