But having said that I really like the direction that it's going in.

I doubt I'll be able to get to California to play alongside Alison in her studio to get that feel. I think it would be hard work too as she moves across the rhythm and deliberately doesn't hit all the accents points on the beat...I take the blame for that as I set up the draft melody to come in late.
I know what you mean but I can't remedy that situation as things stand.
The next track I'm on very deliberately moves to a different groove/feel and BIAB is hard yakka to get that happening.
