Bob,

This is glorious and I remember the very first version of the song like I heard it yesterday. It's what turned me on to Bob Dean's music in the first place.

When I was writing my new hit song "Bob Dean" I searched for it forever but couldn't find it because it had been taken down and my heart was broken because I wanted to quote from it in my new hit single, Bob Dean.

But now I have your even more beautiful and longer extended version I know that I've got nothing to worry about because I'm going to release my new hit single which is Bob Dean Part 2.

It is titled Bob Dean Part II: Tangled up in News.

I'm writing it even as we speak as my wife and I are traveling through the heartland of America, currently passing through North Dakota on our way to Minnesota.

It is going to be an hour and a half long, the longest song ever written.

This is what I have so far.

Bob Dean Part II: Tangled Up in News
The Epic Second Movement of an Epic Trilogy

In the purple mountains Majesty
Beneath a greasy Exxon sign
I'm going to steal a train to Woodstock
And leave this burning prairie far behind
Because I'm battered and I'm shattered but God knows I'm still alive
And I hate the news but I love the blues
And with Bob Dean I will survive
With Bob Dean I will survive
