It is amazing how much this AI vocal sounds like your vocal, Janne. And yes, those are some very low notes it hits. The mix sounds good and the video is cool. The cover art at SoundCloud is great. Well done! J&B Thanks Janice & Bud for your pleasant comment AI sounds like me... I don't know what to think about that... maybe I can retire completely and let AI learn my writing style, then AI could write songs using BIAB and sing them The cover art is created by Bing chat, I cannot take credit for that. I really like what AI image creators are already capable of, although they have difficulties to display my weird prompts, like painting a dog with a camera as its head Janne

I really thought they were your vocals, Janne1 But I read in other posts I was wrong. AI fooled me here ;-) But AI did it's best to imitate you and they succeeded. Still the lowest vocals became to soft, but you are right on the problems with that.
Janne, always a pleasure to be fooled by you and your intriquing songs,
Hans

Janne, It's like you, but in a robot suite Fun spacey and airy composition. Colorful lyrical twists. Yes, techno drums are a perfect fit for this tune. Mix is super clear. Thank you for sharing. Misha. Thanks Misha for your nice review Maybe I should start wearing that robot suite Janne

News flash - Janne's vocals taken over by AI synth! - just kidding. You did a fantastic job with her vocal. Good lyrics and a great mix. Super job on this one! Thanks Mario for your fun and positive comment Janne

Really good work. The vocal seems a little lost in a couple of spots during the 1st verse...nothing a little presence EQ couldn't fix. Well done. Thanks Ray for your kind feedback I tried unmasking vocals in Ozone by affecting the drum track volume, but I couldn't make too radical changes, because it sounded unnatural. Perhaps I could have made changes at the expense of another instrument. Janne

Wow Janne, What a cool sounding song! Love the arrangement. Seems you are getting the hang of those synth vocals!

Interesting song with a voice that does indeed sound a bit like you and also at times reminded me a bit of Robert (Spirit Level).
Well done.
Peter Thanks Peter for your kind feedback Well, I think that no synth voice can ever reach the uniqueness of Robert's voice. Janne

I had the same thought as many - the synth singer really captures your phrasing.
When Jun is in his lower range, it's a bit hard to make out the vocals against the percussion that comes in at 1:44.
Anyway, sounds good! Thanks David for your kind words I don't know should I be happy or what when I hear that a synth singer sounds like me, has it stole my voice or am I a synth voice myself I tried to lower the drum track by using unmasking on the vocal track, but lowering it more sounded too noticable. Maybe I should have increased the loudness of JUN's voice in SynthV studio... Janne

Janne,
You’re always so creative with your writes and arrangements . . . and this one sits right among its predecessors. I’m not are the vocaloid works throughout on this one for me, particularly when it goes into the lower register, where it’s hard to hear and not very clear . . . it’s more spot on as the melody goes into the vocaloid’s upper range. Beyond that, the production works quite well. I like the song as is . . . just would like more clarity and consistency on the vocal.
All my best to you,
Deej

I like the metaphor for your song.
Nice cascading feel. Nice touch with that bell like instrument in the background (don't know what that is).
Nobody has mentioned this, so maybe it's just me. The AI voice seems to be off pitch with some notes. Maybe it was written that way or maybe it is a "humanize" function of the software. I usually don't say anything when a forum member is off pitch because we all or at least most are amateurs, but since it was AI, I'll mention it. Thanks ES for your pleasant feedback I don't know what that bell is either, I don't have notes for it, but I'm quite sure that I played the melody myself. You are right, there are humanizing elements in Synth V voice generation. Mostly notable in the beginning of the verses where it sounds like the singer is trying to find the right pitch. I try to regenerate some of those elements, but usually I let them be there, so that I won't hear complaints about sounding too robotic, but I wasn't expecting the opposite In a coming version of Synth V it is possible to tell which are good and which are bad, so that the AI generation will learn to be humanlike in a more natural way. Janne

Cool song with a lot of texture. Nice job with the synth vocalist.

Hi Janne, here's a bit of feedback for you. Technical feedback: - I would give the vocals a little more treble, at least on the lower notes, so that you can understand them better
- Good and open mix
Artistic feedback: - The vocals work well for your song. They could have a bit more 'flow', though.
- Interesting choice of drums, though I like the mood at the end of the song better without drums
- Overall an enjoyable listen and a nice video, too

Deej Thanks Deej for your kind feedback I really liked this synth voice's lower register and that's why I wanted to use it especially in this old song, of course I had the privilege to hear the voice without instrumentation... well, it is very difficult to mix low notes like this and carve out all the nuances. I hope I'll learn that skill one day. Janne

Thanks B.D. for your nice and positive analytic comment, made me smile Thanks for the treble tip, I'll try to remember that next time. Well, I know adding 'flow' is not my best skill, I don't have an ear for it, but maybe I'm enlightened one day Janne

Very dreamy song, and nicely performed. I really like how the harmonic movement takes the listener to unexpected places, much like a dream. Well done!

Hi Janne.
You've done a great job with this. Your lyrics are incredibly inventive. I love how you've the words associated with stars, space and constellations to create this lyric. This is the first time I've heard Jun. I'll have to do some more investigating now.
Thank you for sharing this. It was a pleasure to listen to. --Noel
