Marty, Cool, slower blues. Loved lower/deeper vocals. Ace bass playing and it's mixed in very well (I always have issue with that) Dave's signature playing & sound fits perfectly. Good listen and thank you for sharing. Misha.

Hi Marty,
very vaporous composition with a very beautiful guitar solo. It's pleasant and the lyrics are well written. Hi, Jani. First of all, thanks for your comments on FB & YT, too. You are now a treasured friend that I can find in many places. Solid Blues Tune, great work on this one. Nice Guitar licks and cool changes beyond the standard 145 12 bar format. Cool lyrics as well. And vocals work well in this format. NICE !!! Thanks for noticing the uncommon progression, Elliott. I like Blues in any flavor. Traditional, country, folk, jazz, whate're. Can't imagine a New Age Blues though. Thanks to everyone that mentioned my small part in this cool tune that Marty wrote! Always fun to play blues On behalf of all who listen, thank YOU, Dave. This song sucks without your "small" part. Heck, that gal wouldn't even be hitting on me if I didn't bring you along. Bravo Marty The video goes very well with the song. Beautiful Laurent Thank you, Laurent!

Traditional blues and Marty & Dave are its masters. Or actually not that traditional, because it has a happy ending, and where is the waking up in the morning When I think more, maybe the end is not that happy if going home means safe life and losing excitement and drama. Anyway, very fruitful story and your singing is very natural and convincing with many nice details that support the message. Too bad that I din't even notice the BIAB instruments, because RealDave and RealMarty are so goood Janne

Oh yeah, good slinky blues!
You sing the heck out of this, Marty and your bass is, as always, buttery smooth. Dave’s solo and fills capture the emotion within the lyric.
We enjoyed the video and noticed something new each time we watched. Also both of us had a chuckle when we saw that “tempting” apple.
And yea for the happy ending for the couple!
J&B Hi, Janice & Bud. Thanks so much. Yeah, I'm with ya on the Dave filling out the emotion so well. Ah, don't give into the temptaion. That apple was probably painted and some oil was applied to it just to look good. Great little blues number you guys! Well done! Thank you, David! Marty, Cool, slower blues. Loved lower/deeper vocals. Ace bass playing and it's mixed in very well (I always have issue with that) Dave's signature playing & sound fits perfectly. Good listen and thank you for sharing. Misha. Thanks, Misha. Yeah, my comfort zone only goes to about an E(2), so that low stuff is more relaxed. You're right about Dave. He has many hats and they all fit like gloves. Are you saying you usually have an issue with MY bass in the mix, or in general? Yeah, being the bass guy I often think it'd be better to have someone else mix my songs. Of course, no one wants that job. I try to be vigilant, yet always want to hear the bass better. Traditional blues and Marty & Dave are its masters. Or actually not that traditional, because it has a happy ending, and where is the waking up in the morning When I think more, maybe the end is not that happy if going home means safe life and losing excitement and drama. Too bad that I din't even notice the BIAB instruments, because RealDave and RealMarty are so goood Janne A happy ending and no mention of stuffing my things into a matchbox at a quarter to three in the morning. There's plenty of excitement and drama at home. Thanks for saying that about not noticing the BiaB guys. I love that about them. They play perfectly, and you don't notice them unless you mute them. Then you notice the song really needs them.

There's nothing to add that the rest of the gang hasn't already said better. So far, I've enjoyed everything you and Dave have done together.
One more thing I want to mention is that your voice sounds fantastic in the lower registers! As it should be for a bass player.

Oh my word. Well done, everyone - it's a STANDING OVATION from me. Marty - so much talent, man. Wow. Those low notes, in the last verse, in particular Nice one. Superbly crafted, brilliantly put together - what can I say? Forget analysing this stuff, just sit back, listen and weep in admiration, everyone.

What a cool groove Marty. Your basslines definitely define the song. Excellent vocal and lyric. Loved Dave's guitar fills and call backs. Guitar break was excellent.

One more thing I want to mention is that your voice sounds fantastic in the lower registers! As it should be for a bass player. Thanks, Brain (that's what I decided to call you). When I was in a band that wanted 4-part harmony (which was really only 3-part with an octave) they always gave me, the bass player, the low part. It was fine when we practiced a capella, but in full ensemble they figured I was more harm than harmony, so they stuck to the 3-part. Thanks, James. Your word is gold for me. What a cool groove Marty. Your basslines definitely define the song. Excellent vocal and lyric. Loved Dave's guitar fills and call backs. Guitar break was excellent. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Scott.

That's a low down an dirty groove!
Fantabulous guitar work.
Is that McCartney on bass?
The lower range vocal works well in the song. It gives the suggestion of liquor and lust.
